Below, you will find a representation, what we call a “Showcase” of some of the ranges and styles that we carry in our shop in Bath. This is by no means the extent of what we stock, and in fact we have literally hundreds of different pieces of jewellery. We hope that this will give you some ideas for gifts, (or yourself!) and tempt you to visit our special shop!

Plain Silver
Often, simplicity is the most striking choice for jewellery, as it doesn’t distract from the wearer, offering instead subtlety - a quiet framing of the face or hand. A wider choice of plain silver jewellery under one roof, you would be hard pushed to find. The emphasis is on simple, eye-catching and modern styling to add a touch of uncomplicated elegance to the wearer’s outfit. We source our jewellery from a considerable number of different manufacturers and as a result, are able to cherry-pick the most attractive pieces and those representing the best value for money. The shop has been here for such a long time, that we have gained a good number of makers uniquely supplying us in the Bath area
Genesis Bangles
This stunning range of sterling silver bangles is handmade in Bath by Marc Novak of Genesis. Each bangle is formed, soldered and polished individually by hand at Marc’s bench. They are beautifully finished and there are over 20 different designs, all with a simple and modern feel to them. They are solid throughout and therefore very resilient and should last a lifetime. He shapes them into ovals so that they fit better to the shape of your wrist and we have a good selection of styles and sizes in stock, and Marc can make any size to order. Most of the staff at the shop have bought one of these – which is a good reference!

Handmade Israeli Jewellery
Some of the most distinctive and unusual of all our ranges, we have a number of different collections from a selection of workshops out in Israel. The styles that the designers create tend to be organic and flamboyant. There is little symmetry or plainness and the majority of the pieces are set with one or more type of stone. The styles of each designer and workshop is often clearly recognisable – some aiming for the delicate and pretty, with others using greater weights of silver in order to strike bold impressions.

Peter Kibbles
Bath based jeweller Peter Kibbles has produced a number of beautiful ranges of jewellery, the most popular of all being his Daisy Chain Collection. Necklaces, Bracelets and Earrings - each piece is hand made in sterling silver and finished off with 22 carat gold plating to emulate the simplicity of the flower. Peter produces all of his work in his workshop here in Bath and as a result, he is able to tailor-make different sizes and provides an excellent after-sales service.

Charms
Charm bracelets are exceptionally popular. They offer the wearer to personalise their jewellery, choosing charms relevant to different events stages in their life and they make a great gift as you have an easy present opportunity each birthday and Christmas! We have a huge choice of silver charms ranging from shoes, to camels, to initials, to violins, to Pulteney Bridge and much more. In fact we usually have over 150 different varieties! We are also able to solder on charms purchased from us for free (this may take a day or two) and ones purchased from elsewhere for a small fee.

Chains
We have a superb range of over 50 different silver chains, ranging from the lightest trace chains, up to heavy chains suitable for large men with a taste for the bold! We have a wide choice of lengths, starting at 12” (30cm) and reaching to 30”(75cm). For ladies, the most popular length of chain for use with a pendant is 16” although we also have many designs and weights at 14”, 18”, 20”, 22” and longer including some more unusual chains to be worn on their own. For gents, the most popularly chosen lengths are between 18” and 22” and we have all sorts of styles and weights. Most of our silver chains are made in Birmingham and are excellent value for money.

Stone Set
Precious metals and stones have for centuries been used together to complement each other and form some of the most beautiful jewellery. We have a huge variety of stone-set pieces, using both cut and faceted stones, and also rounded and polished (known as ‘cabochon’) stones set in silver.

We have more than 25 different types of natural stones set in silver jewellery, providing you with almost any colour requirement to go with almost any outfit that you may be trying to find a piece of jewellery for. In each of these stones, there will be up to 30 different designs of necklace, earrings etc, so you should be able to discover just what you are looking for.

Childrens’ Jewellery
Jewellery for Children is notoriously difficult to find, due to the variety of different ages and therefore sizes that children come in! However, we have a good selection of pieces that are either specifically designed for children, or can be made in small sizes. Charms and charm bracelets are particularly popular, as is Peter Kibbles’ Daisy Chain Collection (see above) and he makes children’s necklaces, bangles and rings. Some of the diamond ranges are suitably sized or adjustable for children and include expanding bangles and crosses and lockets and are always well received when the child realises that it features a diamond!

Pearl
Some regard the wearing of pearls as a more old-fashioned and formal notion and may be put off by this. However, the jewellery that is now available and the fashions have changed, such that you will now find pearls used in contemporary and lighter pieces with much greater wearability. Set with silver, our ranges use freshwater pearls - discovered inside shells found in lakes and estuaries. There is a choice of different colours ranging from white to grey, black and pink, depending on which minerals are found in the water. As more than one pearl is found in each shell, they are very reasonably priced with earrings from well below £10 and necklaces from below £20.

Sally Ratcliffe
Silver, with gemstones and gold are all used together by Sally in her workshop in Sheffield. The emphasis is on organic, richly varied shapes with uneven surfaces. She makes a number of styles, some are lighter and more delicate, while others are more solid with very striking appearances. Due to the techniques Sally uses, all are unique in some way.

Amber
Formed millions of years ago as fossilised tree resin, amber is a natural substance that has hardened over the centuries and as such, no two pieces are ever identical as it features debris and inclusions, produced whilst hardening. It is found mainly in the Baltic states (especially in Poland) and much of the setting work is carried out there, so it is usually very well-priced.

It is a soft substance and so is easily worked into different shapes to be set into silver – earrings, bangles, pendants, rings, bracelets and necklaces in both traditional and contemporary designs. We have also green amber; this is amber which has been gently heated to produce green, yellow and champagne coloured stones.

Diamonds
Diamonds have always had a special allure and exclusivity, and now you can choose them set in silver and you don’t need to pay the high prices you’d associate with diamonds. The designs tend to be modern and minimalist - including both satinised and highly polished finishes. Most of the styles can usually be bought as a matching earring and pendant set, or individually as required. The stones are all genuine, cut and faceted diamonds and include a leaflet to that effect. We have guarantees from our suppliers that they are conflict-free.

Moonstone
This collection of stone-set pieces deserves a special to itself because it is such a beautiful stone. A member of the feldspar family, there is great depth and variation within each stone and in the same way as amber, no two pieces are ever alike. There are mainly whites and blues, but many stones have greens and even yellows. In addition to moonstone, and equally unusual and individually unique, we have many pieces of labradorite which is another feldspar and features much more green and brown hues.

Cufflinks
Despite the trend for dress-down days, cufflinks are more popular than ever. With the fashion for double-cuffed shirts, men are wearing cufflinks with their casual shirts too nowadays. For many men who don’t wear jewellery, a smart pair of cufflinks offers them the opportunity to wear something smart and masculine. We have a large choice of silver cufflinks starting from under £20 and ranging to over £100. We have them in plain silver, or with mother of pearl, enamel or other stones set in them – with either bar or chain fittings. We can help you select a pair, based on whether they are for work or casual and what types of shirts he wears. With such a selection, you should find something ideal.

Mens Jewellery
It’s not only cufflinks that we have for men… we stock a wide range of men’s jewellery too. You will find a fine collection of rings, bracelets, torque bangles and chains in everything from silver, to titanium and stainless steel. The newer metals of titanium and steel have a particularly modern and plain essence to them, and the silver is available in modern or classic styles. Titanium is a very lightweight, exceptionally strong metal in a darker colour than silver and our range of titanium rings is especially popular, being both well priced and very varied in design. For men, the key with jewellery seems to be that they want something modern and masculine, yet often with some unusual or defining feature that helps to express the wearer’s individuality – we aim to offer this.

or keyring. Included in this range are all manner of covetable mini works
of art, from shoes, to cherubs, to corsets... mostly priced below £20.00
